I'm actually not planning to use the beta key, and for anyone who did not receive a beta key somehow from their efforts in trying to obtain one, well here's your chance.

Simple:

-if your not registered, become a registered member and have at least 10 legit posts (no 1 word, smilies type posts)
-purchase lottery tickets from the points section (link is near the top left), click the lottery link on the left menu and purchase how many ever tickets you can with your points accumulated.

The lottery will be ending in 1 week which will be the 15th of March 2010. From there, there will be a winner, whoever wins the lottery I will be giving out the key.

Please keep in mind this is not a fake, it was a beta key personally given to me which I won't be using because unfortunately I just don't have the time right now

TIP: The more you post, the more points you will accumulate, thus more chances to purchases lottery tickets!

Note: Admins, and certain moderators and contributors will not be eligible (sc2fanatic, jbinc, nine49kid)

it costs 10 points per ticket, you can buy as many as you want. You'll accumulate more points by contributing more on the forum, such as posting on threads etc.

Very nice of you to be doing this, yes i joined for this but i do love some forums. Active/Mature discussion is always a plus.

hey guys, just want to say sorry since i just REALLY wanted to give this key out in the fairest way possible, and i apologize for the forum being buggy. If you guys are open to suggestions im willing to take quick notes on what you guys want to do.

1. disqualify the current winner since he is technically ineligible

also please let me know asap, i will be on the forums throughout the next couple of hours to take quick suggestions.

Once again sorry for the slight disorganization, i just really wanted to give away the key as quickest as possible in the most fairest manner possible so I didn't really get a chance to fool proof any bugs.

side note: what i can also suggest is probably backdate from the time of the contest start date and reimburse a set amount of points to the individuals who were participating in accumulating points

How are you going to know how many points each person had though?

posts x10 for those participating and redo the lottery seems like a good way of doing it.

or post = amount of lotto tickets would work aswell since its the same thing i just stated heh

You got to take into account the amount of posts and points accumulated since that was the whole idea of the raffle, to get as many as you could. I'd say amount of posts x10 = amount of points given to everyone who is participating, THAT would be the fair way for everyone.
