this would be quite useful, because if scv's are sent along with tanks or thor they can lay mines and repair at the same time, less units with less micro. Although for some people they will think this is less of a challenge since theres less units to micro

1st thing i think of is mineral defense. swarm of lings come at ur defenseless base and go right for ur SCV's BUT you have mines as a last resort =D

the only problem with this is, if scv lay mines near where they gather, and a unit tries to come by itll explode and cause splash dmg hahahaha.....kill all his own scv.... PWND

or you can quickly task one of your scv's on a mission to lay mines down in someone else's gathering area- fucking their world up because it'll take like a minute or two before the oppenent can kill your ninja scv scout. but you already destroyed their economy with your super sajin claymore mines. fuckin done son.

This can be useful if scvs can fight back you can send scv's to another base and they could lay minds for extra def while they build another base up.

SCVs with mines is a better reason to mass scvs and rush the enemy. Instead of doing the vulture rush, just scv rush it and micro haha.
