I completely agree with you mattcos; I love playing the Zerg because they're such a challenging and fun race to play, but us swarmers need something new!
We definitely need a new ground unit that isn't quite as powerful as the ultralisk, but not as weak as roaches/hydras. Speaking of hydralisks...IMHO, they got nerfed pretty heavily as being upgraded to a Tier 2 unit and yet they are slapped with a "Light" (along with their given "Biological") categorization. Paying 100 minerals and 50 gas for such a unit is a ripoff. And for crying out loud bring in the scourge for multiplayer! I've not had my fix of scourge harassment!
Somewhat back on topic to the thread, the campaign is pretty massive and their are so many different ways of going about it. Not only are their things that Blizzard must have in SC2, but their are things us SC2 gamers should probably have to achieve all that this AWESOME game has to offer. Shokz's SC2 guide (get it here:
http://116619vblc6ewn5kufyslpl8md.hop.c ... KZSC2GUIDE
) contains a lot of great campaign strategies and covers just about every other aspect of SC2.
I'm also curious on some good Zerg baneling strategies vs Terran (since Mech Terran builds can faceroll many inexperienced Zerg if you let them build it up). Obviously you either want to send in your banelings first, or lure their army towards your burrowed banelings and then pop up. What I'd like feedback on is what kind of units work well with banelings? I figure a mix of roaches and hydras would work well...but that's just me
